Description

Created for convenience and efficiency, I offer these UnUns. With a maximum power of 50W PEP, ideal for QRP. Available in two variants – 49:1 and 9:1 – so you can choose the perfect match for your needs. The powerful push terminals make connecting wires easier than ever before, without the need for tools. The compact design means you can take them anywhere and take up little space in your equipment. Ideal for backpacking and as a holiday antenna!

These UnUns are specially intended for so-called End-Fed antennas.

9:1 ​​UnUn

This is used for long wire antennas with a random length. This UnUn also has a push terminal for connecting counterpoise (countercapacitance) wires. These wires should be at least a quarter wave in length of the lowest frequency used. The more wires you use, the better the performance.

Please note!, With this UnUn you need an antenna tuner.

49:1 UnUn

This is used for half or full wave wire antennas. This UnUn uses coax for the counterpoise. For optimal performance, this coax should have at least a quarter wave length for the lowest frequency used.
A set rule is a minimum of 1:10 length (40m = 4m coax), but in practice the longer, the better the performance.
A well-tuned system does not require an antenna tuner.

A raw Laser cut winding spool is supplied with each UnUn .
