Messi & Paoloni POTA Cable

As an avid outdoor enthusiast and radio operator, I couldn’t be happier with my new 6mm POTA cable from Messi & Paoloni, along with the POTA Speed cable winder and the matching carrying bag.

This setup has truly elevated my portable gear to the next level!

After years of heavy use and admittedly some bad habits like improper winding and accidentally stepping on my coax cables, I had already worn out two of them. But this new cable feels like a gamechanger.

For its thickness, the 6mm POTA cable is surprisingly lightweight and flexible, yet it features double shielding and a robust outer layer. This combination gives it excellent durability without sacrificing portability or ease of use perfect for outdoor operations.

The POTA Speed winder is another lifesaver, allowing me to roll up the cable neatly and quickly without tangles or kinks. And the sturdy carrying bag keeps everything organized and protected, making it so much easier to transport my gear during trips.

This cable has quickly become an indispensable part of my portable arsenal. It’s durable, practical, and incredibly user-friendly, perfect for anyone who values quality and reliability in their outdoor setups!

One feature I absolutely love is its high visibility. The yellow transparent coating, combined with the copper inside, gives the cable a reflective quality that makes it almost appear to shine when the sun hits it. This makes it incredibly easy to spot in grass or other outdoor environments, helping to prevent trips and accidental damage. It’s a small but ingenious detail that adds a touch of practicality and elegance, making a noticeable difference during field setups.

Despite its slim size, the double shielding combined with high quality materials ensures that it’s still a relatively low loss cable. This makes it a reliable option for maintaining signal quality during portable setups, even over longer distances.
