In Juli 2006 I have participated the VHF Fieldday contest.
6 and 2 meters where allowed, but due my license I am only permitted to operate at 2 meters in this contest.

We had planned to participate the entire weekend, but unexpectedly something came in between on Saturday.
In the end, it was decided to go on Sunday after all, And this definitely not without result!
Equipment used:
Transceiver: Yaesu FT-847
Antenna: Tonna 11 elements @ 25m above sea level on a dune top.
I ended up in 5th place in the Dutch competition!
My exceptional result was also noticed by the contest manager, and was even mentioned in an article in the Veron Magazine.
