Python en MiniBook installeren onder Windows
Volg deze stappen zorgvuldig om Python en MiniBook correct op je Windows-computer te installeren.
1. Python installeren

Download Python
-
Ga naar de officiële Python-website: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/

Download de nieuwste Windows installer (64-bit).

Start de installer
-
Dubbelklik op het gedownloade bestand (bijvoorbeeld:
python-3.x.x-amd64.exe).

Belangrijk: Add Python to PATH
-
Op het eerste installatiescherm zie je onderaan een vinkvakje: “Add Python to PATH”.

Zorg dat dit aangevinkt is.

Dit is nodig zodat Windows Python kan herkennen in de Command Prompt of PowerShell.

2. MiniBook downloaden

Ga naar de MiniBook-downloadpagina:
https://minibook.pd5dj.nl/MiniBook_v149.zip -
Download en pak het ZIP-bestand uit in een map naar keuze (bijvoorbeeld:
C:\MiniBook).-
Na het uitpakken zie je een map met de naam MiniBook.

3. AppInstaller uitvoeren

Open de MiniBook-map.

Dubbelklik op
AppInstaller.exe. -
De installer zal:

Controleren of Python correct is geïnstalleerd.

Alle benodigde Python-packages voor MiniBook installeren.

Snelkoppelingen aanmaken op het bureaublad voor eenvoudig starten.

4. MiniBook starten

Na de installatie vind je snelkoppelingen op je bureaublad.

Dubbelklik eenvoudig op de MiniBook-snelkoppeling om het programma te starten.
✅ Je hebt nu Python geïnstalleerd en MiniBook volledig werkend op je Windows-systeem.
Installing Python and MiniBook on Windows
Follow these steps carefully to install Python and set up MiniBook correctly on your Windows computer.
1. Install Python

Download Python

Go to the official Python website: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/

Download the latest Windows installer (64-bit).

Run the installer
-
Double-click the downloaded file (for example:
python-3.x.x-amd64.exe).

Important: Add Python to PATH
-
On the first installation screen, you will see a checkbox at the bottom: “Add Python to PATH”.

Make sure this option is checked.
-
This is necessary so that Windows can recognize Python commands from the Command Prompt or PowerShell.

2. Download MiniBook
-
Go to the MiniBook download page:
https://minibook.pd5dj.nl/MiniBook_v149.zip -
Download and extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choice (for example:
C:\MiniBook).-
After extracting, you will see a folder named MiniBook.

3. Run the AppInstaller
-
Open the MiniBook folder.

Double-click
AppInstaller.exe. -
The installer will:

Check if Python is installed correctly.
-
Install all required Python packages for MiniBook.

Create desktop shortcuts for easy access to MiniBook.

4. Start MiniBook
-
After installation, you will find shortcuts on your desktop.

Simply double-click the MiniBook shortcut to launch the program.
✅ You now have Python installed and MiniBook fully set up on your Windows system.
