YAESU Bluetooth Interface

I recently designed a Bluetooth interface to easily connect a tablet/PC with CAT.

I use this system when I am Portable with my FTdx10
That way, I don’t have to connect any cables between my radio and my Microsoft Surface Tablet.

Note: This is only for CAT, not audio!

The module easily connects to the RS232C port and only needs to be supplied with a voltage between 5V and 26V.
Most radios have an (unused) connector that provides voltage, such as the ACC connector.

The interface is easy to connect and will act like a serial COM port.

Important settings on your radio are:
CAT BAUDRATE: 38400
CAT RTS: OFF

These are the only two important settings you need to configure on your radio.
