I have purchased a uBitx Transceiver from http://www.hfsignals.com
It is a pre-built basic direct conversion radio designed by Ashhar Farhan VU2ESE.
The thing that pulled me over to buy the kit is the possibility to connect a Nextion touchscreen display to it.
I have quite some displays laying arround the shack that are perfect for this project.
The nextion software was created by Ian Lee KD8CEC from www.hamskey.com
As there are many sizes of nextion display’s 2.4/2.8/3,2 and 3.4″ are the most used for this project.
I have some 4.3″ lying arround, and due the size I found it really great to use them.
But unfortunally there where no ready to use HMI skectches available, so the only option was to redo all the graphics and menu layouts.

I’m interested in the files for the 4.3″ Nextion display. On your website there is a word press download ID, but I can’t seem to find a way to download the files. Any suggestions?

Hi John, I will take a look, and see if I can find it.. the website has been offline between 2019-2022 so some may be lost.
I got the Nextion 5 inches Enhanced display.
I downloaded the file for the SD card: ubitx_5_B_11_jA but appears on the Nextion displat the following message:
“Model does not match
Device model:
NX8048K050_011R “
Which is the solution?
